How to redeem an Uber gift card

An Uber gift card adds funds to your Uber account balance. It is one balance: it pays for Uber rides and Uber Eats orders.

How to activate

Update the Uber or Uber Eats app.
Open Account, then Wallet.
Tap Add Payment Method or Add Funds and choose Gift card.
Enter the code from your Ludefy order without spaces and tap Add.
In European Economic Area countries the app asks for identity verification details. Without them the card cannot be redeemed.

The card works only in the country of purchase or in countries with the same currency. A USA card works only in the USA.
In the USA the card adds Uber Cash; in Europe and the UK it adds Uber Money.
The account needs a valid primary payment method, such as a bank card. Without it the balance does not work.
The validity depends on the country: no expiry in the USA and the UK, 3 years in Germany. Redeem the card right after purchase.
The balance does not pay for family profiles and scheduled rides.
A redeemed card cannot be moved to another account or exchanged for cash.
The Gift card already redeemed error means the code has already been redeemed.
If the code does not activate, write to support through the form on the order page: we will check it and replace the item or refund your money.
