How to activate a Steam key
A Steam key is activated in the Steam client or on the Steam store website. After activation the game stays in your account library for good.
How to activate
- Open the Steam client and sign in to your account.
- In the Games menu, choose Activate a Product on Steam.
- Paste the key from your Ludefy order and confirm the activation.
- Without the client: sign in at store.steampowered.com/account/registerkey and enter the key there.
Region and restrictions
- The game publisher sets the key region. The Ludefy item title shows the region: Russia and CIS or worldwide.
- If Steam says the product is not available in your region, only the seller can lift the restriction, not Steam Support.
- A key works once: after activation it cannot be registered on another account.
- The Steam Subscriber Agreement forbids bypassing region restrictions with proxies and VPNs.
- If the code does not activate, write to support through the form on the order page: we will check it and replace the item or refund your money.
