How to redeem a Nintendo eShop card

A Nintendo eShop card adds funds to your Nintendo Account. The balance pays for games and add-ons in Nintendo eShop.

How to activate

On Nintendo Switch: open Nintendo eShop from the HOME Menu and select your account.
On the left, choose Enter Code or Redeem Code: the name depends on the region.
Enter the 16-digit code from your Ludefy order and confirm: OK or Confirm.
Online: open ec.nintendo.com/redeem, select Sign in and sign in to your Nintendo Account.
Enter the code, select Next, enter your password again and select Redeem. A confirmation arrives by email.

To redeem online, the account must have opened Nintendo eShop on a console at least once.
The code works only in the eShop of the same region. The eShop always matches the Nintendo Account country: a USA card will not work with a Japanese account.
In the Americas region, the account country cannot be changed while there is money on the balance. In Europe it can, but the balance is lost.
The country is changed on the Nintendo Account website: User Information, Profile section, Edit button.
If the code does not activate, write to support through the form on the order page: we will check it and replace the item or refund your money.
